While designing this project, I explored the idea of using an object itself to shape the product that holds it. I was inspired by the fact that pencils originate from wood—as people take out and use a pencil, they may become aware that trees are being consumed. This subtle reminder encourages mindful use of stationery and reduces waste.
The product consists of three layers, which can be separated for independent use, allowing for more storage capacity.
Use a simple hinge-free connection method for easy assembly and disassembly.
