This vase is designed to preserve the memory of the flowers it holds, featuring six delicate, petal-shaped glass panels around its exterior. As petals fall, they can be pressed within these panels, creating a collection of preserved blooms. Each imprint captures a moment in time, turning the vase into a living archive of past arrangements and cherished memories.

The flowers we bring home inevitably wither over time, their petals falling away. Do we simply discard them, or do we keep them? Perhaps every bouquet carries its own story. Instead of letting the petals go to waste, we can preserve them through pressing, allowing them to dry and be kept as memories—just like how we used to collect fallen petals as children and tuck them between the pages of a book.
The upper structure and form are created using stacked pairs of glass flower presses. The transparent design allows people to see the flowers they once bought, preserving both their beauty and memories.
The pressed flower glass can be rotated, allowing users to view each drying flower at any time.
After testing, the transparent glass effectively isolates air and moisture. I successfully created dried flowers!
