(01).
As weightlifting and fitness grow in popularity, wrist injuries have become a common issue for enthusiasts and professional athletes alike. During weightlifting, wrists endure significant stress, and improper form or excessive loads can lead to hyperextension. This condition can cause ligament injuries, tendonitis, or even distal radius fractures. Studies show that approximately 35% of weightlifting-related injuries involve the wrist and forearm, with most stemming from insufficient protection or improper techniques, severely impacting performance and recovery.
To prevent negative wrist angles during weightlifting, a supportive accessory has been designed.

(04).
The product primarily revolves around the CJ2 hydraulic system, with additional wearable features.
(05).
After several iterations, the final design chosen features a compact form, making it wearable while ensuring minimal restriction on wrist movement.

An SLS sintering printer was used to test the nylon prototype. The final form is not yet finalized, but this represents the current stage of development.
